Remembering Dr Leon Vaughan
Last year, we were joined by so many familiar faces, and it was exciting to meet everyone. However, right after the Congress, we received the sad news that we had lost yet another delegate, Dr. Leon Vaughan. He was enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge and engaged with many of us. He spoke about the Great Debate, mentioning how it was new and refreshing. The Ophthalmological Society was thrown into mourning upon his passing.
This year, as we remember Dr. Leon Vaughan, our 5K Walk or Run is dedicated to his memory. Join us for a lap around the Queen’s Park Savannah on Thursday, 11th July 2024. Transport will be provided.
