Dr Nilesh Persad is a Specialist Eye Surgeon and Physician. He is a Fellow of the Royal
College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the
International College of Ophthalmologists. He is also a Member of the Royal College of
Surgeons of Edinburgh in Ophthalmology, a Member of the American Academy of
Ophthalmologists and a Member of the Pan American Association of Ophthalmology. Dr
Persad completed his Subspecialty training in retina and uveitis at the prestigious retina
program at the University of Toronto in Canada. He has worked and trained in England,
Canada and Trinidad and currently practices as an ophthalmologist and retina expert at
Port of Spain General Hospital and the Trinidad Diabetic Eye Centre in Vistabella.
