ABSTRACT SUBMISSION FORM FOR 37th ANNUAL OSWI CONGRESS MEETING

Please ensure that you read the accompanying guidelines for abstract submission (oral, poster and video presentations).
Please clearly type information in the following fields, as it should appear on the program.
Typewritten abstract should be attached to this form, which can also be accessed by clicking “Download Form”

Abstract Submission Guidelines:

  1. Abstracts must be one A4 page in portrait layout and under 250 words.
  2. Use a concise, bold, and centered title; avoid non-standard abbreviations.
  3. List authors, qualifications, and affiliations below the title in italics. Main author underlined, presenting author marked with an asterisk (*).
  4. Maintain a double-spaced and justified main text
  5. Employ a structured abstract for scientific research papers (Objective, Method, Results, Conclusion)
  6. Avoid conclusive promises in the abstract.
  7. Include 3-6 keywords for cross-indexing,  using Medical Subject Headings.
  8. Confirm no prior publication or presentation at a national scientific meeting.

If the abstract is for the Resident’s Prize Presentation, please indicate:

Posters should be 90 cm high and 100 cm wide. Allocate the top of the poster for the title and authors' names and affiliations as stated in the submitted abstract. The text and illustrations should be bold and large enough to read from a distance of six feet.

Videos should be on a DVD format. It must be the original work of the author. The duration of video should be between 3-10 minutes. The first 30-45 seconds should include: Title, Authors, Institution and Financial disclosures. The video should be self explanatory and may be with or without narration. The DVDs must be submitted by midnight, December 31st 2025.

The author affirms that the material submitted has not been previously published or presented at any national or international meeting; any experimentation has been conducted according to a protocol approved by the institutional committee on ethics or, if no such committee exists, that it conforms with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki of the World Medical Association (Clinical Research 14:193, 1966). The undersigned also certifies that all authors named in the abstract have agreed to its submission for presentation at OSWI 2026. .
